Joshua Esnard

Joshua Esnard brings a wealth of high-level athletic experience to his first coaching role. A player for 15 years across Massachusetts, North Carolina, and New York, Joshua was a skilled left-footer who patrolled the left wing and midfield. His competitive career featured stints with notable clubs like Carolina United, the Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Team, Ithaca Phoenix, and Syracuse Blitz, culminating in two National Indoor Championships and multiple State Cup finals.

His athletic journey uniquely extended to American football, where he excelled as a placekicker and successfully mentored others who went on to achieve success in Division 1 programs. This background in developing technique and mental fortitude informs his coaching philosophy. For JBS, Joshua will focus on building defensive strategies to forge a unified, balanced, and formidable team force.

Joshua was a rainbow coach for many of the younger JBS 2017 players. A resident of Pittsboro and a father of two, Joshua is also an accomplished entrepreneur, serving as CEO of The Cut Buddy and a partner at Truffletopia Truffle Company.
